Collalto, in the heart of the Veneto region, is a land of unique charm and centuries-old history, captivating all kinds of travelers: from art lovers to nature and sports enthusiasts, to those who delight in fine wine and exceptional cuisine. Nestled among rolling hills, our home is located in Susegana, where sweeping landscapes blend seamlessly with the beauty of the vineyards and the age-old tradition of winemaking, creating an atmosphere of truly unmatched appeal.
HOSPITALITY
Thanks to its outstanding restaurants and traditional osterias, the area is renowned for the richness and diversity of its food and wine offerings.
Over the centuries, the succession of different cultures and influences has shaped a strong tradition of hospitality while enriching local recipes. The result is a cuisine born of encounters—perfectly paired with the wines of the region.
If you’re planning to visit, we invite you to consider staying at our Country House.
THINGS TO DO
Art Cities
Collalto is an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding historic towns and cities: Venice and Treviso, as well as the charming—though lesser-known—Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano, Asolo, Feltre, and Belluno.
Excursions and Day Trips
The area is also perfect for nature excursions, such as a visit to the Büs delle Fade, a cave with a spring of crystal-clear water, or the Molinetto della Croda, a place that still preserves the charm of times gone by.
Many of these destinations can be explored by bike, with routes well suited for mountain biking or trekking.
The White Wine Road (The First Prosecco Route)
We highly recommend this itinerary, conceived by our ancestor Giuseppe “Bepi” Schiratti. Since 1966, it has offered unforgettable experiences to all who follow it. Over approximately 50 km, the route takes you through Collalto, immersing you in vineyards, leading you to discover works of art, and inviting you to savor the finest local specialties.
